20 Pokemon Gen 1 Red Type Chart
The majority of the type chart has remained the same over the years but there have been a few changes.

Electric pokémon are very good defensively being weak only to ground moves eelektross is the only pokémon to have no type disadvantages due to its ability levitate. The dark type was introduced in the second generation of pokémon games as a measure to balance the types. In generation 1 hm moves cannot be deleted once learned. The type chart is a visual representation of type effectiveness in the core series pokémon games.
